Coverage

The multiplex broadcasts from transmitters at;

  • Arfon
  • Conwy
  • Gwaenysgor
  • Holyhead South Stack
  • Llanddona
  • Nebo S
  • Penmaen Rhos

Coverage map: Outdoor

Due to international frequency constraints transmitters are grouped on two separate frequencies, with Arfon, Llanddona, Amlwch Nebo and Holyhead South on 10D and Conway, Penmaen Rhos and Gwaebysgor on 12D. Some car radios may have trouble dynamically switching between the two transmitters – a work around is to set two presets for your favourite stations, one for each frequency.

Other transmitters may be launched during the licence term to enhance and increase coverage.

Shareholder

The multiplex is owned by MuxCo North Wales Ltd, a subsidiary of Nation Broadcasting, and is managed by MuxCo.  The multiplex launched on 12th December 2014
