At Minster FM we often get asked when we’re going to be on DAB Digital Radio. Whilst you can hear the national radio stations like Classic FM and BBC Radio 2 and even some of the regional stations like Real Radio and Smooth, it’s not possible to hear local stations like Minster FM.

Well, that’s about to change as the Government regulator, Ofcom, have recently advertissed a new licence that will bring local DAB Digital Radio to North Yorkshire and we’ll be bidding for it. If we’re successful it means you’ll be able to hear Minster FM in crystal-clear digital sound and you’ll be able to get some new radio stations too.

However, to win the licence we need your help, as we have to show Ofcom that there’s support to hear Minster FM and the other radio stations. To help you help us, we’ve created a questionnaire below that we would love you to fill in.
