The Digital Economy Bill 2010 allows multiplexes to merge. We have applied to Ofcom for our North East Wales & West Cheshire and North Wales multiplexes to be merged to provide continuous coverage across North and Mid Wales and Cheshire.
We have yet to receive approval for this request, but we are pressing ahead to launch the combined multiplex, with its enlarged coverage area.
At this stage, we can confirm the following services on the multiplex:

In addition, we will carry further radio services, and will announce details of these nearer launch.
If you are interested in running a radio station on this multiplex, please contact us for further information.
If your favourite local station is not listed above, please contact them to register your interest for thm to be carried on the multiplex.
The multiplex will cover around 1.8m adults across Liverpool, Cheshire and North Wales, using initial transmitters at St Johns Beacon, Wrexham Rhos, Moel-y-Parc and Great Ormes Head, and with a confirmed additional transmitter to launch at Arfon following international frequency clearance. Other transmitters will be introduced to expand coverage during the licence period.
