WCL Tuesday Update

Wrexham Rhos has passed Ofcom’s tests this morning so now joins Moel-y-Parc in becoming passed and on the air.

If you’re in the area, we would love to hear your transmission reports. Please send your postcode/location and the signal level/quality to us at [email protected]. You can also guess who our Test Transmission announcers are too…

If your DAB Digital Radio has, er, a few years on the clock, make sure you do a full scan rather than just a UK scan to pick us up.

What time will Dee 106.3 appear on the new mux on Friday, and which stream number?

I assume 3 will be Radio Wales and 4 will be Radio Cymru? Thanks.

Excellent. At 6.02am when Gavin came on air. The second feed stopped. And all sounds perfect. At 6.06am first Dee on DAB Veriaty Demo played out in perfect sync with the FM transmission.

Its good hearing a real voice is a good judge of the quality. The 112Kbps Codec sounds fantastic.

    Great work guys.
